Marina A. Lewis - Of Counsel
Marina A. Lewis focuses her practice on trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law. In particular, Ms. Lewis advises clients on a variety of trademark issues, including worldwide trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. She also counsels clients on domain name and cybersquatting matters.
Ms. Lewis received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006, where she worked as a research fellow for the renowned trademark law expert, Professor J. Thomas McCarthy. During law school, Ms. Lewis actively participated in the Internet and Intellectual Property Justice Project, advising clients in a variety of intellectual property issues.
Ms. Lewis received her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University, where she studied history and economics, and served as an intern for the Consulate General of France in San Francisco. She is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the State Bar of California Intellectual Property Section, the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association, the International Trademark Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Ms. Lewis is a San Francisco native and speaks conversational French, German, and Spanish.
