Paul Tomita - Partner

Paul Tomita's practice emphasizes patent preparation and prosecution.  Mr. Tomita has represented clients in semiconductor fabrication technologies, as well as mechanical devices in the computer disk drive industry and in centrifugation technologies for liquid sample handling.  He has also represented clients in the video game hardware and software fields as well as optical switching equipment for various communications networks.

Mr. Tomita received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1987 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1996.  He is a member of the California Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.  He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of California.
