Richard Nebb has over 20 years experience representing clients in a broad range of intellectual property matters. His current practice emphasizes patent and trademark prosecution and counseling. Mr. Nebb also has significant experience in intellectual property litigation, licensing, domain disputes, strategic portfolio management, due diligence, contract review, and other intellectual property matters. Representative technologies include computer systems, software, peripherals and components; semiconductor materials, devices and fabrication processes; data storage systems and devices, particularly flash memories; data communications systems and devices; image processing, including encoding and transmission systems and devices; stereoscopic imaging; and electronic, mechanical and electromechanical devices and systems.

Mr. Nebb is currently Patent Chair of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association, a member of the California bar, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits.

Mr. Nebb received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1983, and a Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University in 1989, where he was a writer and editor for the Law Review. Mr. Nebb also worked for Procter & Gamble in manufacturing management prior to attending law school.
